Abstract Symbolic Mixed Medium Painting
May Sun was born in China and emigrated to the US to complete an engineering Ph.D. In recent years, she realized her childhood dream of becoming a full-time artist. May expresses emotions and tells stories. Her work has been exhibited in many juried group and solo exhibitions. May was elected a Signature Member of the National Association of Woman Artists, NY and actively shows with several Massachusetts art associations.
May’s painting impressions intuitively emerge from her subconscious database mixing with emotions and senses. Her work stimulates relatable experiences and stories within the viewer’s imagination to join her in celebrating being alive.
